Dr Lin is an Australian trained specialist General Surgeon with subspecialty training in Upper GI and Bariatric surgery. She has a special interest in minimally invasive surgery and is also a recognised endoscopist.

Training
After completing her general surgical training at Newcastle/Gosford training network in NSW, Dr Lin underwent a year of fellowship at Queen Elizabeth II Hospital in Brisbane where she gained additional experience in emergency general surgery as well as benign Upper GI & Bariatric surgery. Following this, she relocated to Taiwan for a 6-month training in Endoscopic Retrograde CholangioPancreatograpy (ERCP) at Kaohsiung Medical University Hospital, which is one of the highest volume centres in Taiwan. This ERCP training was accredited by the Conjoint Committee for the Recognition of Training in Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (CCRTGE) in Australia.
Dr Lin was selected on the highly competitive post-fellowship Upper GI training program run by the Australia and Aotearoa New Zealand Gastric and Oesophageal Surgery Association (AANZGOSA). She spent 1.5 years working as a senior fellow at Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham, one of the highest volume oesophagogastric cancer centres in the UK. She obtained extensive experience in managing oesophago-gastric (OG) cancer, oesophageal reconstruction, endoscopic management of OG pathologies and complex benign upper GI surgery. She then spent another year at Prince of Wales Hospital, Sydney, where she further advanced her skills and knowledge in benign and malignant (cancer) upper gastrointestinal and hepato-pancreato-biliary (liver, pancreas, and gallbladder) surgery.
Vision
Having previously trained in the Central Coast, Dr Lin is excited to return to the Central Coast and is committed to contributing the continued growth and development of the healthcare system in the region. She is dedicated to providing the highest quality of care to all the patients to create a positive experience and ensure the best outcomes are achieved.
Dr Lin operates at Gosford District Hospital and Gosford Private Hospital.
With Taiwanese heritage, Dr Lin is multilingual and fluent in English, Mandarin and Taiwanese.
